OnePlus has confirmed it will be expanding its popular Nord smartphone series in India with the launch of the new OnePlus Nord CE 4 on April 1, 2024.
The successor to last year’s Nord CE 3 looks set to upgrade in key areas like performance and camera capabilities while retaining an aggressive price tag under ₹30,000 based on leaks so far.

OnePlus hasn’t officially commented on pricing yet, rumors indicate the Nord CE 4 will be priced between ₹25,000 to ₹30,000 given the phone’s positioning.

One major upgrade confirmed for the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 782G 5G chip fabricated using the efficient 4nm process. Along with up to 8GB RAM, this new chip delivers up to 41% faster CPU and up to 49% faster graphics rendering over its predecessor.
So expect a smooth all-round usage experience whether gaming, multi-tasking or anything else. The chip also enables advanced photography features absent previously in the price segment.
Sleek New Design in Two Colors
Visually, leaked renders of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 show off a refreshed minimalist design with a slim profile and no prominent camera bump thanks to the flush-mounted lenses.
You’ll be able to choose from two sophisticated matte-finish color options at launch – Dark Chrome and Celadon Marble. The latter seems to take design cues from the premium OnePlus 11.
Different Triple Camera Setup
OnePlus Nord CE 4 is tipped to feature three cameras on the rear headlined by a 50MP main sensor. An 8MP ultra-wide lens lets you capture more of the scene in one frame, while the third sensor is likely a 2MP depth or macro shooter.
There’s expected to be a 16MP front-facing camera as well for selfies and video calls. Software algorithms for better night photography and portrait shots are also likely given OnePlus’s focus on delivering a great overall camera experience.
Other Expected Features
Some other rumored specs include a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and high 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and playback. Fast charging support and an in-display fingerprint reader for security also make the cut.
And you can expect the clean OxygenOS 13 interface on top of Android 13 keeping things simple and bloat-free.
